Roscoe's Sauce Guide

Cincinnati City Slicker

A mild, sweet sauce with no measurable heat, but a delicious complement to most items on the menu. It mixes well with all of our other sauces except for the Tonsillectomy. GREAT on a taco salad especially.

Texas Brushfire

A tangy, medium heat sauce with enough spice to give you a zing on your tongue, but no pain, sweat or tears. We love it on chicken and beans. It is our most popular sauce. We've served thousands of gallons over the years.

Too Darn Hot

A big step up in heat sensation. You will require a tolerence for jalapeno peppers to enjoy this full-powered array of flavors. TDH (as we call it) makes our burritos and tacos even more addictive. Once you try this and like it, you won't go back to the mild life.

Smokin'

This resembles Too Darn Hot in appearance, but it is three times the heat level and a bit smokey in flavor. If you can eat a handfull of jalapenos all at once, you will enjoy the heat of this sauce. (Roscoe's favorite, but only in small doses. He mixes with Cincinnati City Slicker.)

Tonsillectomy

You've NEVER tasted a sauce that duplicates this one. Unique, blistering heat with an enjoyable slight bitterness that insists you keep eating it. The more you eat, the hotter it gets. Be careful of the amount you pour on, you may not be able to finish that burrito. You'll probably break out in a flushing sweat!

LAVA

This one is for the lover of habenero pepper heat on top of the Smokin' flavor. Way too hot for the enjoyment of most Hoosiers. Don't try to prove your manhood with this.  You may find out you're not ready till you can drink a full shot of Smokin without a straw!!!
